WARRINGTON WARRIORS
one team | one mission | one goal
General Information
2022 Warriors season will be starting August 1st.
Safety
Warrior First Aid Requirements
The Warrior Organization requires that a certified First Aid person be assigned, and present, at each home game. The Warrior Complex is equipped with two Automatic Electronic Defibrillators (AED) located at the snack stand and Tower 1.
Warrior Severe Weather Policy
Coaches are absolutely forbidden from holding practices during severe weather, particularly "lightning."
When lightning is spotted, Coaches are instructed to remove their children immediately from the playing field and seek the nearest available shelter (lockers or Snack Stand, NOT under the trees).
It should be noted that practices may be held during rain and snow conditions, as these can be considered "Game type" conditions. Practices during rain and snow is left to the discretion of the Coaches with the permission of the Executive Board, unless prohibited by Warrington Township.
Coaching Requirements
All coaches and assistants must go through USA Football coaching certification yearly. The Warrior Coaches are educated each year on core principals of being a coach and teaching safe fundamentals governed by the standard set by USA Football.

Equipment - Helmet Re-certification
Although we are only required to re-certify helmets every other year, Warriors Football policy is to conduct such re-certification each and every year.
This typically costs the Organization approximately $35 per helmet, but safety is well worth the cost!
Football Equipment - Pads & Uniforms
The Warriors Football Organization attempts to replace worn out equipment each and every year. In addition, the Organization supplies each player with a Game Jersey, game pants, a re-certified helmet and shoulder pads.
Participating members will need to supply Practice jersey & Integrated padded practice pants, properly fitting girdle, chin strap, athletic supporter and mouthpiece.
Statement On Financial Accountability
The Warrington Warriors are committed to maintaining the highest possible integrity regarding our financial matters. All members should feel safe in knowing that all funding that flows into the Organization are dedicated to enhancing the playing environment for our kids. We make every effort to maintain a tight system of checks and balances. Key points to note regarding our policies are as follows:
-
The Warriors Football program requires two signatures on all checks, regardless of the amount, written on our account;
-
Currently, we have three approved signers, of which two signatures are required on all checks;
-
Each month financials are reviewed at our Monthly General Meetings, which are open to all members;
-
All checks require invoices;
-
Nearly all registration fees received are paid by credit card or personal check;
-
All sponsorship funds are received in check or credit card form ONLY;
-
Snack Stand cash is counted by the Snack Stand Director and an additional Executive Board Member and then verified by either the Vice-President or Treasurer prior to deposit. All such deposits, and amounts, are verified by the President.
-
Additional Fund Raising proceeds (mainly checks, but some cash) are collected in the following manner:
Step 1: Initial collection by the respective Team Mom for each team, who maintains a detailed list of all participants for each team;
Step 2: Consolidation of all teams by a Fund Raising Coordinator;
Step 3: Verified and deposited by either the President, Snack Stand Manager or the Treasurer.
-
Our goal is to maintain an operating cash balance with excess funds (if applicable) re-invested to benefit the in the kids for projects such as new equipment, field renovations, etc.

Fund Raising Policy
The expense of providing quality equipment and facilities for the enjoyment and safety of our participants is substantial. Registration fees provide only a part of the funding necessary to cover our day to day operating expenses. We have attempted to maintain our fees at a constant rate from year to year. As a result we depend heavily on funds obtained from other sources such as local Business & Corporate sponsorships, as well as conducting fund raising activities during the year.
Non-Participation Policy
All Families will be required to provide a $50 Non-Participation Deposit included with your registration. Your child’s equipment and uniform will not be distributed without this deposit. Upon completion of the items listed below, your deposit will be returned:
-
Participate at one scheduled 'field day' to help prepare for the season and assist at the Snack Stand when scheduled (typically twice per child).
-
Parent participation in at least one of our volunteer positions listed on your Registration Form
-
Return ALL equipment & uniforms on scheduled equipment return dates as set forth at the end of the season in good working condition
-
Please Note - Uniforms MUST be clean or the NPD will not be returned
WWAA Football is a complete Volunteer Organization, we need the help of all of our families to make this program successful for our children. Not everyone can or needs to be a Board Member or a Coach, however, every little bit of volunteering helps. Please do your part to support your child and your Organization.
